(municipality Borger-Odoorn / province Drenthe)
The “Vlaamse Gaai” is a renovated farmhouse, built in 1920. It’s situated in a very rural neighbourhood and is surrounded by the ‘Hondrug’ (a sand ridge), the ‘Hunzedal’ (basin of the Hunze-river) and the old peat area.
The large garden with a lot of greenness radiates rest.

Each room has 2 single beds and a washbasin. There is a build-in balcony from where you have a splendid view. Especially in the summer it’s nice to enjoy the sun and the view.
The dining-room is downstairs where guests can quietly enjoy an extensive breakfast.
When the weather is fine, you can have your breakfast outside.
The vicinity is an excellent bicycle and walkarea. The region is known for the megalithic tombs. You can visit the largest megalithic tomb of the Netherlands in Borger (± 5 km). There is also an information centre.
