Porta Giulia
Porta Giulia is one of the gates that used to give access to Mantua arriving from the North, and so called because planned by GIULIO ROMANO. It belonged to the defensive structure beyond ponte dei Mulini – the citadel -, that doesn’t exist anymore, if not in the name of the area and that of our street: Via Degli Spalti (Glacis Street).
From our B&B the centre is 5 minutes by car, 10 by bike or if you prefer to go on foot you can take a walk enjoying the lakeside.
Services
Breakfast
A rich Italian breakfast is included, served in a wide hall or, during the summer, on the terrace.

In the big garden you can safely practice archery on target faces and 3D targets.
On demand it is possible to attend archery training courses, with a trainer at your disposal.
Lake fishing
The lake is a few metres from our B&B. In our facilities you can easily store your equipment.
Previous arrangements it is possible to access the services of a fishing club on the lakeside, like renting or haulage of boats.
